Hi Nada, are you writing from North America or some other location? The proper link to use depends on that.
If you're in North America, use this link: http://www.yesasia.com/us.../comment-our-website.html If you're in the rest of the world, use this link: http://www.yesasia.com/gl...en/question-feedback.html Also, the Shipment Units are a measure of weight or size of the item, and pertain to any possible shipping charges. You can find more info on the Shipping Unit here: http://www.yesasia.com/gl...0-hsi.592-en/section.html |

Hi,
This reply is incredibly late and I'm sorry about that. You can leave your name and email address to be notified -- it would usually tell merchandising team that someone is interested in the product. However, if a product like that is marked as "Out of Stock", that may indicate that the supplier has told us they don't have any to sell at this moment. Those types of products (Tai-Seng, ETTV) only have one true supplier so if they don't have them in stock, then they have to make more. Not sure when that is occurring at this time. |

Apologies if this is the wrong question to ask here. For this release of My Sassy Girl, would you happen to know Kozo if it's just the same old Starmax
release? Or is it a brand new edition with different (hopefully better) subs? I've tried looking everywhere for info about this DVD, but can't find
anything. Thanks in advance if you know the answer.

Hi I Like Elaine,
I can't give you a 100% accurate answer because I've not checked the disc myself, but if I were a betting man, I'd bet that this is just a repressing of the original disc with no changes. My Sassy Girl has been OOP for quite a while in Korea, and I seriously doubt they'd spend the $$ to get it subbed again. Doesn't seem like their M.O. The cover is the same too, which should be the big giveaway. I'm hoping they put My Sassy Girl on Blu-ray because it'd be popular with people -- but even then, I seriously doubt that the subs would be fixed. |

Just a quick reply to the "My Sassy Girl" question: I own the original Starmax collector's set and found the sub pretty decent. No spelling or
grammatical mistakes. As far as the story goes, the movie is 8 years old and I highly doubt that the new versions will have new translation. Unless it says
something like an "anniversary edition", I won't place my bet.
Like Kozo said, the disc looks like a repressing. Seeing that the film has vibrant colours and one breathtakingly beautiful female presence, I'd put more focus on picture quality instead. If that's the case, go for the Japanese disc for marginally-better video quality. |

Hello,
I've got a quick question. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for YesAsia to restock an item? Specifically a CD. I want to buy SS501's Special Mini Album - U R Man. It was released in late November of last year and the group is pretty popular so it shouldn't take that long for them to restock it, right? I've sent them an email requesting this item to be restocked. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long? Sorry if asking this question is off topic (since this forum is related to HK and Asian film) but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. |

Hi 2ndbutton,
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question. Restocking time depends entirely on the product in question, and whether or not there are any available copies from YesAsia.com's suppliers. It's entirely possible that there are no more available and we won't be getting more. Given the current issues with physical media in Asia (i.e., rampant piracy, dropping sales), most Korean/Chinese products are not produced in large quantities. Sometimes there are re-releases (called "repackaged versions" in Korea), but this is also hard to predict. |

Hello Webmaster_Kozo. Thanks for replying to my previous question rather quickly.
Here's another: does it make a difference to say that YesAsia has this item as listed as "TEMPORARILY out of stock" (emphasis on the temporary Just curious, are you part of YesAsia? Asking because you used the term "we" and because of your extensive knowledge about Yesasia. |

Hi 2ndbtton,
I think the difference between "Temporarily Out of Stock" and "Out of Print" lie largely on the supplier end. That is, if the supplier says that more quantities of a product may show up, then it's "Temporarily Out of Stock". If the product is gone for good, it goes to "Out of Print". However, I'm sure that many items that are first listed as "Temporarily Out of Stock" go to "Out of Print" after numerous attempts at getting them. It's fairly public knowledge that I work at YesAsia, but my function here is on the content side and I have little to do with the product side of things. As such, I'm not totally aware of all the difficulties and issues that may come into play when sourcing products - especially since YesAsia offers so much stuff in their catalog. My answers are more like educated guesses than absolute gospel. Hopefully, they help somewhat. |
