aircompass you are right, the film's cinematography sis not dissapoint, it was a marvel to watch (especially on the big screen)


I was touched by the scream in the context of the story (which was unappealingly told - the Roshomon approach didn't go well with wuxia- imho). And it moved me to the core. Maggie is a great actress whose talent is honed to perfection. Cheung's acting was the best to express the nuances of the different colors and emotions of film and she was great in the fight scene with the overacting queen look at my nostrils flaring Zhang. What happened to the wonderful actress of The Road Home?

It never occurred to me to compare AOT to another film or performances in AOT to others because it'd be unfair in my case, since I hold AOT very very dear to my heart.

Maggie Cheung more than held her own in an uncredited cameo in AOT, what a memorable acting feast that was.
