Although you probably wouldn't plan to see it, I would strongly advise that all spare your Long-Term Memories by avoiding the Yukari Oshima-flick, ULTRACOPS 2000 (1992). Since I saw it months ago, I've been trying to uproot and dis-integrate the engrams formed!
What a
true
"waste of time"!
For the curious, this
review
says it all!
Thanks to our host, Tiemler, for the heads-up on DOUBLE TAP. Kudos to ascendedbastardboy for the "411" on A HEARTY RESPONSE.
BTW, everyone... I think that BODYGUARD FROM BEIJING is one of Jet's best films. His steely-faced, onscreen persona is well-suited to that character. The final fight made up for the gunplay. And...to Tha Homicidal Terrahawk... Do those "aspects" include the film's production values and special effects? If so, then I agree. However, if you are referring to the film's pace and level of action, then I must disagree.
