Sorry, Running Man, I believe we have a misunderstanding.

I am NOT saying that Jackie's English is bad... In fact, his English is pretty good. My complaint is that the people around him sound TOO GOOD. The other character's voices, should also speak with an appropriate accent so that he doesnt end up being the only person in the entire film not speaking perfectly fluid English

No...I get you. :)

I just said that I think he is a very good voice actor.

A prime example of what I am talking about can be found on the Dimension DVD of Accidental Spy. (I know, a butchered version which I would not have purchased if I had known beforehand.) Anyway, other than some Turkish characters, everyone other than Jackie--even in the HK scenes--speak like Americans.
You mean to tell me they had voice actors who could speak English with a Turkish accent but none with a Cantonese one?

I suppose it doesn't bother me really. If you think about it, there are plenty of Asians who speak perfect English and some who don't. I suppose I just take that logic into consideration.

And yes, I thought that the English dub on the Sony DVD of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was perhaps the best English dubbing I have ever heard.

They've done more dubs of that quality. Others to check out that I think are excellent are Kung Fu Hustle, Time and Tide, and So Close.

anything dubbed by the americans is bad.

Uhhhh.....no. :)
