With that in mind, I am nominating ANY Jackie Chan recent release where he does his own English dubbing. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying there is anything wrong with Jackie's English... BUT when he is talking with a heavy Chinese accent while everyone else in the movie is talking perfect English, it just makes his accent stand out like a sore thumb.

I disagree. He's surprisingly a very good voice actor, although he was really bad in the Dimension dub for Twin Dragons. Must have been out of the loop that day.

BTW, what dubs have you seen with him doing his voice?

Another nomination is the Qin Emperor in Miramax's release of Hero. In the Chinese language track he comes across as strong and powerful--a true leader, but in the English track--he's changed into a cranky old whiny eunuch!

His voice in the dub was done by actor James Hong and I agree it was a real bad choice. And the people working on the dub were morons and it was also based on Harvey Weinstein's made up subtitles for the film so watching that dub is pointless.

I will say however that the guy they picked to do Jet Li was perfect and the guy who they got to do Donnie Yen (even though he had only 3 lines in the film) sounded exactly like him. Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung's were also very good choices IMO. It's just that voice director and the people who adapted it were morons and the dub comes off real lousy.

Much better was the dub for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
