Need help finding an older movie! Spoilers

Ok, I saw this movie when I was around 8 years old I think...

Here are the scenes that stand out in my head.

1. An ambulance chase where the bad guys are in the ambulance, they take a tight turn and the leader is thrown out of the ambulance and gets run over, he's in a full body cast.

2. At the end there is a fight scene on docks where these two guys fight each other with anchors.

I saw it this week at home, I'd recommend it, its not a huge blockbuster film but its a well made poignant little film, well worth seeing.

A better than usual mainland film with Cecilia Cheung in a supporting role to mainland actress Zhou Bichang (McDull,The Alumni). This was CC's last film before her motherhood hiatus. I actually saw this quite a while back but SoMeTiMeZ's recent posting about his latest purchases prompted the start of this discussion thread. No LHKF reviewer has written about this movie previously.

I generally liked this film even though it had the usual plot and character...

Finally saw it on DVD. I wasn't expecting much from Kozo's review, but I quite enjoyed it.

Yes it was ridiculously macho at times, but how can a film about duelling snipers not be? Has anyone ever seen this movie which was the writing and directorial debut for Anthony Wong Chau-Sang? I didn't see the whole thing and am not even that curious to find out what parts I missed to try and put the whole movie together. I did see enough from beginning to end to conclude this was a bad movie though.

Appologising in advance as the only specific memory I have of this movie is the twist ending. I'm pretty sure it is of Chinese origin, subtitled and not dubbed, and was made early this decade, maybe 2002, but it could have been made as early as the late '90s. It is a futuristic sci-fi with an unattainable love sub-plot, as I recall. Over the holidays I viewed the DVD twice. Having read the original from Liao Zhai many times over the years in three different English translations, I already had very strong mental images beforehand of how the story would develop and what it might look like as a screenplay.

For once I'm more negative then lovehk film (maybe thats because Kevin Ma rather then Kozo wrote the review) I found Ip Man disappointing.

For a film that at some periods appears to want to be a chinese Shindlers List (with slow mo destaturated shots of japanese troops commiting atrocities against chinese citizens) the overall silly plot is abit much to bear. i am trying to find a title for a movie i've seen some time ago.
the definition is not ultra precise but you may find.
i think it's from the late 90, sober style and picture.

Hi guys, this is kind of strange. I've in mind two movies that I watched, but I can't remember the titles, or the actors/actresses names. Wondering if anyone could help me out?

Hi,
I recently bought this set, and I noticed a small dub mix up when watching The Big Boss in the English audio. The audio gets jumbled for a short time, making the wrong characters say the wrong thing. Only lasts for one short scene, but I wonder if anyone else noticed, I can't imagine a flub like that would just be on my copy.
